Playing with Macy on the couch the other day and having some fun trying to snap some decent pics while she was being silly. I had been tickling her and throwing pillows on her. Mom-with-camera-Tip: try a different vantage point when snapping images of your little one. I decided to stand on the couch over her......and told her in a very playful voice "do NOT look at me, whatever you do!!!" ...of course, she peeked out....and SNAP! Sweet! Sometimes when you are photographing yoru own child, you really have to remember to engage with them, even when the camera is in front of your face. It takes practice, but its worth it. Tallk to them, PLAY with them, interact with them.....and you can get those fun shots that remind you of an afternoon playing on the couch. 

Then she started trying to kick at me..... silly girl, but I do love "action" shots! :-)
